This information is related to mitochondrial DNA and hair analysis done in 1999/2000 on evidence from the case that was done at the request of the Riverside PD in hopes of incriminating their main suspect (it ended up clearing him). I am currently writing about Bates, and I almost right away don’t think Bundy was a good suspect.
